Discreet facelift, improved front wheel suspension, restructuring of the engine plate: presented in September 1985 at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, the 300 SL R107 inspired as a completely revised model of the SL series and, in the years that followed, advanced to a true production record: by August 1989 a total of 237,287 vehicles of the SL 107 model series were manufactured in Sindelfingen. This hand-assembled precision model of the sporty roadster gets collectors’ hearts racing and inspires not only with its paint finish in the authentic colour shade, but also with an accurately detailed interior. The doors, bonnet and tailgate of the model car can be opened, allowing closer inspection of its high-quality interior. A removable soft top rounds off the equipment. The model car is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging and, alongside a screwdriver for easy removal, includes a glove to prevent fingerprints on the windows or paintwork of the model.
