A collector’s vehicle that has lost none of its appeal to this day: with the legendary Gullwing Coupé, Mercedes-Benz presented the first thoroughbred sports car with a star in 1954. By May 1957, 1400 examples of the car had been built in Sindelfingen, 29 of them with light-alloy bodies and one an experimental vehicle with a plastic body. The miniature model of the 300 SL is a true-to-detail replica that will make any collector’s heart beat faster. The hand-assembled model not only impresses with a paint finish in an authentic colour, but also with a detailed representation of all interior details. The doors, bonnet and boot lid of the model can be opened, allowing closer inspection of the car’s interior. The model car is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging and includes a screwdriver for easy removal and a glove to protect against getting fingerprints on the windows and paintwork.
