No collection should be without it: the 180 D “Ponton” W 120 (1954-1959) in the Classic Limited Edition. Introduced to the market in the segment of the upper luxury class in the autumn of 1953, this model car is the first Mercedes-Benz to be designed with a self-supporting body. Alongside the modern Ponton design the entirely newly developed model has many further advantages, which continue to be amongst the most important features of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, for example, exemplary safety, low aerodynamic resistance as well as a generously sized interior. The 2019 special model is a miniature model in die-cast zinc with plastic components, which has accurately reproduced according to the original CAD data. All the interior details in the high-quality decorated interior were also accurately designed. The model is mounted on a printed base and encased in a presentation box. It is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic designer packaging.
