A collector’s vehicle that has maintained its appeal to this day: with the legendary Gullwing Coupé, Mercedes-Benz presented the first thoroughbred sports car with a star in 1954. By May 1957, 1400 units of the car had been built in Sindelfingen, 29 of them with light-alloy bodies and one experimental vehicle with a plastic body. The miniature model of the 300 SL is an accurately detailed replica that will capture the imagination of any collector. The hand-assembled model not only boasts an authentic paintwork colour, but also a faithful representation of all interior details. The doors, bonnet and tailgate of the model car can be opened, enabling closer inspection of the car’s interior. The model car comes in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging and includes a screwdriver for easy removal and a glove to protect against fingerprints on the windows and paintwork.
